We hire, train and supervise a certified aide for your loved one. You don't manage paperwork or payroll.
The member, or a family representative, hires and directs their own attendant, often someone they already trust.
Not sure which is right for your family? We'll explain both on your free assessment call, with no pressure either way.
Virginia's CCC Plus Waiver pays for care at home for people who would otherwise need a nursing home level of care.
The waiver is for Virginia residents who are:

Every HouseCalls caregiver is trained, screened and certified for the care your loved one needs.
Help with bathing, dressing, meals, mobility and daily routines.
Extra training for clients with more complex health needs at home.
State-certified aides for hands-on care, transfers and close monitoring.

We don't stop at basic caregiving. We're the partner your family can call any time.
Every caregiver is screened, trained and supervised by a registered nurse.
If your aide is out, we call you first and arrange a replacement, usually within 1 to 4 hours.
One agency for both. Start private pay while Medicaid is pending, or switch later.
Built from a detailed assessment of needs, routine and home, and updated as needs change.
We match by schedule, language and preferences, and aim for the same aide each visit.

It is one of the two ways to receive personal care and respite under the CCC Plus Waiver. The member, or a family representative, hires, trains and supervises their own attendant, with help from a Services Facilitator. The other way is agency-directed care, where an agency like HouseCalls provides a trained aide supervised by a nurse.
